See BIG run!!

Wednesday, March 18th, 2009

Hi! As you may or not know I spent some time two years ago putting together a proposal for an animated kids TV series. It’s called ‘Pups And BIG’ and is about a little puppy dude called Pups who befriends a giant flea called BIG. You can read all about the series at the dedicated blog HERE.

Anyway I was desperate to get in some animation practice last week so I out this run cycle of BIG down and added some handmade sound effects. I now present to you the first moving images of BIG for your delight…

Goalstar Unleashed

Thursday, October 16th, 2008

I recently produced an animation called Goalstar for myself! Well I want to sell it for MILLIONS so I made it about football, which I’m not mad on but everyone else in the world is. Anyway this is episode one and I’ve written about 12, each one becoming increasingly wild and of course cra-zee! Please take a LOOK.

Paris Hair 80’s Titles

Tuesday, March 25th, 2008

Hi! I’ve just been back to 1985 in my time machine and taped the credits to the detective show I used to star in. Unfortunately my VHS player chewed the tape but I managed to save this fragment, sorry for being such a tease!

Le Mans And The Tuff Guys

Rio, Brazil, the near future. Three orphans befriend a giant robot gone AWOL and together they bring peace and security to much more than just their favela.

This was my idea for the perfect saturday morning TV cartoon. I was deeply impressed by the foreign theme of ‘Mysterious Cities Of Gold’ and also being drawn to the music of Sergio Mendes (who provides the theme music here) I just had to set my kids-with-giant-robot series in Brazil. Made at the turn of the century 2000AD by hand in Islington, London where I used to live. Nice

(A) Touch Sensitive

Monday, August 20th, 2007

This is the first animation I produced for Super Furry Animals. It was part of the ‘Rings Around The World’ DVD album and as you’ll see, it’s a little bit sexy. You may not however, be able to decipher the story behind the action, which portrays a Tom Baker incarnation of Doctor Who becoming lost in time and inadvertently becoming the father of that most famous of wizards, Merlin.
